since we know that it's sometimes hard to get started on a site, we have a board specifically for begging people to rp with you! come here if you need someone to pick up a character or if, like i said, you need to beg for a little action.

uh-huh, sure you didn't just go to caution or blank pages and pick out a spiffy looking relationship plot -shhh- we won't tell. hah. for some reason people like to know who's a friend and who's an enemy and just what that other person thinks. well, this board caters to that. get yourself one of those spiffy relationship plots with the colors and the codes and plot away, m'dears!

mm, well, here's the thing. just about everyone has a cell phone. what's more fun than texting friends instead of talking to them face to face?! huh? not into texting? more of a computer person? well, never fear! there is an im section just for you. log on, chat with your friend and make sure to use the name you claimed.

mckinley hall is basically the academic hall. the library is located here as well as a study room so that people may read in peace and not be disturbed too much. there are a few class rooms on this hall where the kids will be taught by a teacher hired by the state of Illinois. academics is really not the focus of sji.

maxwell hall is the artsy hall. there is a music room as well as an art room. st.john's wants to express that they are opening their doors to educate students as well as get them off the streets. expression of culture is on of the ways they like to do that, though it isn't really forced.

spunk hall is pretty much the entertainment hall. this is where the cafeteria is located as well as the school's gymnasium. there isn't much to it, but it probably holds the majority of the school's foot traffic. a lot of students would rather go to the cafeteria than spend what little money they might have and the gym is a really good work out place.

the housing for the boys is in a building off to the side of the institute. it is located directly across from the girl's housing and definitely expresses the boys' creativity. there is a little graffiti along the outside walls, but it really just adds to character.

every city has some form of night life. chicago has four main clubs that the night life revolves around. some of them really adhere to the drinking age and some of them do not. there are occassionally parties thrown at the clubs. if you don't know how to dance, well, you better learn. get out there and pop, lock, and drop it until you're too drunk to care anymore.

well, there are some things that don't involve eating or drinking that are fun as well. don't be afraid to come have a romantic night out or just enjoy yourself. really, there's no harm in having some fun. chicago has some great entertainment things to get them by. no one should be bored, that's for sure.

so... this is actually a pretty important board. let me tell you why... this is where you are going to tell us when you are going to be absent! GASP! yeah, please let us know if you're going to be out for a while so that we can work around it and, well, not delete your account for activity checks.

don't try and hide it. each and every one of you has a little spot of your heart tucked away for looking at pictures of hot guys/girls and looking for avatars and signatures and whatnot. well, if you happen to be good at making said items, then you should show your stuff in here. also, don't be bashful... if you need something, then come here and let people know and someone will help you.
